Fatigued? Fibromyalgia? Jacob Teitelbaum, MD's New Book, on the News, LOTS New!
It's always a pleasure to see an e-newsletter in the inbox when it's from Dr. Teitelbaum, because they only send out something when it is Some Thing. Today it was to report that his new book about sugar and health is available from Amazon.com. (You'll notice our products page puts people through to Amazon as well, which we chose to do because it is such a 'trusted and familiar' route, but ideally another source for people shopping for products from Lumigrate is something we're interested in pursuing). read more »

Hello again,
I have just completed a blog entry on Sleep Dysfunction. Although it is with regards to ME/CFS, the information may be useful to individuals hwo have sleep dysfunctions associated with Fibromyalgia.
Feel free to add yourself to the blog list, to pass it on to others, or even just copy the information within it and use to educate yourself and those around you, including, of course, your medical team.

I wanted to set up topic areas for people in the SLEEP Forum at Lumigrate.com which are similar to what has worked with Fibromyalia Forum: Provide the base structure and then let others start topics too. My intention with Lumigrate is to provide a progressive, valid, streamlined, fun health and well-being website experience (and related facebook and Twitter) that maintains what Aretha Franklin would say 'R-E-S-P-E-C-T'. Please keep these things in mind and diplomatically guide others who might be used t read more »
This is one of the more read topics as I'm editing today, and I'm going to bump this up in the forum as well. The Forums area originally was used well to get people who wanted to comment doing so -- there weren't many websites then which had the capability to do that for people with 'fibromyalgia' as a focus as Lumigrate did in our formative times. You'll see below a wonderful example of how it worked. read more »

Last night I attended a fun and informative open house within the IMC of W Colorado's Bellezza skin/aesthetics, and while I DID want to learn about the additional staff and new products and services, and the attendees were likely there for the goody bags, drawings, and discounts on products purchased at the even, I got a BONUS I went for -- time with Scott Rollins (MD, and Medical Director of Bellezza as well as the Integrative Medicine Center of Western Colorado (link below). read more »

Dr. Oz with Dr. T on Oprah.com
"Ladies and gentleman of the jury..." -- with thanks to the Grate group of radar-searchers who have their heads in the game and are facilitating our continuing to provide valid, progressive and interesting information. Lumigrate then helps let people find out about these important developments by posting links here and by simply involving our volunteers (aka facebook friends).
Below is a link to Dr. Oz integrating more information about fibromyalgia and the related treatments and symptoms. read more »
