What Happens in Vagus .... Doesn't Stay in Vagus! The Vagus Nerve Superhighway

I belong to a lot of Facebook groups, and I'm selective and look for where the high level learners and doers are.  Today, they were rapidly finding this a wonderful article in a group focused on the aspect of 'mold'.  A really nice comment was how she loved her vagus nerve, and someone replied how just saying that was helping it.  read more »

How to Get On .... Disability, and So Much More

There's a beautifully done website by a talented young woman who has complex chronic illness and is in collaboration with two artists of stunning work primarily which she uses on the website for the 'tiles' and other key areas.  When you arrive you see at the top Welcome        and then        Peace. Love.Spoons.  read more »

Mold. A Four Letter Word and Cofactor to Consider with Chronic Illness (and Wellness / Prevention, Too!)

"Mold" is one of the major facets of contributing factors when people end up with complex, chronic illness that is along the lines of 'chronic fatigue and pain'.  Four letters. "A four letter word.....", I say, jokingly.  read more »

"Chronic" Interrelated Conditions. Overview / Guide Topic for YOUsers re: Lyme, Fatigue, Pain, Fibromyalgia, Neuro, Endo, etc.

I'm inclined to suggest to people who want to know what Lumigrate has to offer about chronic Lyme, fatigue, pain, neurological degeneration, etc. to  'just go to the forums at Lumigrate and look around, after you've looked at all the other links briefly and gotten the overview'.   read more »

Healing Lyme Without Antibiotics Conference - Covered by Better Health Guy, Hosted by The Klinghardt Academy, May 2014

A recent conference in Washington state, put on by "The Kinghardt Academy", has now taken place and has a great overview topic by the Better Health Guy's website. I'm hoping everyone who has an interest in chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic pain that is from fibromyalgia, MS, ALS, Parkinsons, Lewy body disease, Alzheimers, and autism, etc. is aware of this conference having taken place and the information that is available which has come from it.  read more »

Lyme: STD Possibility per Emerging Research and Documentary

I suspect that the 'sexual' aspect of this topic is getting people's attention. Combining this with the growing awareness by people with 'chronic illnesses', that I globally refer to on Lumigrate as 'the overlapping illnesses', becoming aware that Lyme is frequently part of the 'palate' of separate items their body carries and adds to the body's burden -- this is going to be a 'hot topic' going around the Internet I suspect. Hence I wanted to have a topic addressing it on Lumigrate.     read more »

Morgellon's Disease: Is it In the Skin? "In Your Head"? Topic at Lumigrate Leads YOUsers to Answers and Overlapping Conditions

Since Morgellon's Disease is known for the skin lesions, and is different from the other overlapping conditions that are more 'invisible' (Lyme, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, MS, lupus, etc.), the topic thread I initially created in 2013 and added onto it today in 2014 is in the aesthetics forum, but I wanted to create a topic here in this forum to route people to it if they 'put in here'. To clarify, the overlapping conditions have many of the same underlying reasons and have many of the same symptoms as well as some differences.  read more »

Discerning and Concerning: Studying Two Similar and Popular Internet Topics About NEW Fibromyalgia Findings

NEW information about fibromyalgia just went around the Internet like wildfire, once again. I've observed many waves of this in the five years since I've transitioned from a 100% in-person, face to face, 'brick and mortar' business format for educating people about fibromyalgia, which was a part of my business as an occupational therapist in an outpatient clinic by the end of that phase of my career in medicine, to 100% Internet-based as I did for a couple of years and then worked to doing a bit of both.  read more »
