LYME'S disease ~ its NOT "Just my Fibro''~ my lesson learned

I attended a memorial service and after party/gathering in a rural western Colorado 'fellowship hall' for the husband of a friend of mine who has just been very special since the day we sat next to each other at a progressive health-type seminar three years ago this month. My day's variables had been more time-extensive than I'd planned and Google misdirected me to miles from where the service was AND the one paper notice that I read happened to be incomplete and gave the time and place of the after party as the time and place of the memorial. read more »

Answered Prayers
Mardy has suggested that I post here several times, but life has been keeping me busy. 7 years ago when I found the answers I had been praying for, I was elated and felt called to pay it forward so I became a wellness consultant (and have expanded that to include certififed weight loss coach.) When you manage to recover from fibro, chronic fatigue, and depression without meds, it gives you a passion to share it with others. Over the years I have helped many people, but finances always seem to get in the way. read more »

I ran late getting over to Pablo Blanco's last night to cook dinner and help with 'glue up' of a big wood working project he has been working on for about as long as he's known me, which is 15 months now. I think I was putting it off a bit because I was nervous about how it was going to go as I've not done a big glue up like this since about 1992, and fibromyalgia has come and had it's insidious impact on many aspects of my function, including dexterity, processing speed of the mind, and on and on. Every day I wake up like anyone maybe does, thinking about what I have in front of that day. Today is an important spiritual day for many in the world, as "The Season of Lent" began, as I was grateful to see it referred to by Alice in a new post today in the Forums / Spirituality. Alice lives where Mardi Gras originated in the USA and she wrote the most wonderful piece about it. This is the first Valentine's Day for Lumigrate!
