Nick Ortner states in the half hour video segment I watched with him and his sister, Jessica Ortner, at TheTappingSolution (thetappingsolution.com/2013VideoSeries/), that he hopes "tapping", or "Emotional Freedom Technique" becomes as well-known as "meditation" is today. Father's Day is today, the first one since my father passed nine and a half months ago. He died on Labor Day, the ultimate irony since he was the hardest worker. He worked at everything, even at having fun. Hikes or walks on the flatlands were monitored for how many miles per hour, ski runs were evaluated on the way back up on the lift, people were evaluated after parting from spending time together. read more »

This is from a blog I posted in February of 2010 which I wanted to copy and place here where it might be seen by people becoming educated about fibromyalgia. Since most people who have FMS have a history of adverse childhood experiences (trauma in childhood), this is very important to be included here.
