Last night I got an email from Dr. Jerry Rand of Bay Recovery in San Diego, which is one of the treatment facilities featured on the popular A&E show 'Intervention', asking for people to vote for episodes he and his facility have been featured in on a facebook application contest by A&E to determine what YOU, the viewers, think is the best episode for them to promote for a special feature they are doing. Addictions and Adoptions; Teachers and Tools

"You can't have peace until you put the pieces together." These words were the big message yesterday as I had Oprah on in the background while I worked. My interest was piqued because it was well done show about bringing people who had been separated back together; mother's who had given babies for adoption, for instance. Since my father was adopted and later in life was found through Adoption Exchange by a niece who also had been adopted out, a family who had someone do the whole genealogy ancestry and had this one 'missing boy' from 1921. Mangling Medicine - Early Intervention for Chronic Pain

When you're done reading this, hit that 'Forums' tab on the pretty purple bar under the Lumigrate logo, please! It's what I'm really REALLY asking people to 'go and do'. I got up super early today thinking I was going to get this blog written and off my 'chest' or 'mind' and then go take another REM cycle. I was supposed to ski tomorrow with a friend and due to travel schedules, I've had difficulties getting one of the providers I'm hoping to write in Lumigrate settled in. read more »

Well, everyone -- I've been on facebook and said my 'aloha' to Yenta and her writer, as they are going on a little cruise to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary and to get away and take some time off for HEALTH. (Aloha means 'hello', 'goodbye' and 'I love you', I am learning from my Hawaiin-influenced friends.) Pain Recovery at Bay Recovery on A&E's "Intervention" Monday 1/18

Jerry Rand clued me in a couple of weeks ago that he and his treatment facility, Bay Recovery -- Chemical Dependency and Pain Recovery Center of California, LLC, will be part of a new "Intervention" episode on A&E on Monday, January 18th.
