"This is my new favorite thing" is one of my favorite sayings.  Right now, STIFF 'N' SORE is just that! My new favorite thing!  (Editing this almost exactly a decade later, Stiff 'n' Sore is still one of my favorite things, and I've included them on the products tab at Lumigrate, so please take this link and go there, if you're interested in ordering.  www.lumigrate.com/page/products

You can also read on here, for an edited version (shortened) of what I had provided here previously).

Stiff 'n' Sore is impressive.  Harder for me to gauge because the type of pain I have with my neck is so 'extreme' when it occurs, but I've now had a professional colleague/friend with an orthopedic injury/swollen knee incorporate it into a regimen of alternative and complementary treatments, and there was another thumb's up.

(Editing this in 2017, I've now used it on the saddle joint at the base of my thumb on my left hand, which has recently started going out of whack --- it interestingly resolves the misalignment, which I presume is stemming from inflammation. I'd purchased some arnica gel at the health food store and recently tried it to compare and it has a really unpleasant to me smell which made me appreciate Stiff 'n' Sore being odorless even more than I had already.)

I learned of Stiff 'n' Sore from my osteopath specialist, who had always sent me to the health food store for anything she might suggest -- seasonal allergies, for instance.  But she said this is one of the few things she does sell, it's made by a homeopath back east that only makes this one product, in gel or cream.  (I tried both the gel and the cream.)

I'm happy to say that I've not had foot pain in the month since purchasing the cream, but since I had the jar here to get the info from I just rubbed some on an area that was sore on my arm from holding my purse too long and not realizing it/shifting it yesterday, and it just has the most wonderful feel to it! This is what is on the jar:

STIFF'N'SORE - Greaseless - Odor Free - Natural

An all natural topical for sore, achy muscles and stiff joints as a result of overexertion, injury, arthritis, etc.

Directions: Apply liberally to an affected area 2-3 times a day, rub in well.  If necessary, use hot or cold applications to assist with comfort and healing. Active ingredients, HPUS, Arnica Montana 4x, Bellis Perennis 4x, Rhus Toxicondendron 4x, Ruta Graveolens 4x, base: white cream (or the other is gel.

Natural homeopathic ingredients have no known or recorded side effects.  Their safety and effectiveness have been known for 200 years. Stiff'n'Sore is not intended to take the place of sound medical advice.  If the symptoms persist or worsen for more than 5-7 days, seek medical attention.  If a rash occurs, discontinue use.

(Editing in 2017, I've now had some foot pain episodes and used it -- it worked wonderfully.  And a little goes a long way, a jar lasts a long time. This is one that I'm just getting even more impressed with the longer I'm using it.)

I'd previously searched and found their website, and you can buy it in gallon quantities because people use it on horses! I have the 4 oz for $12 from them size ($15 from my DO). I think people with fibromyalgia might do well to buy the gallon!    Just kidding!  (Kinda not, though....).

(Editing this in 2017, I've since learned of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and believe many are misdiagnosed or underdiagnosed and have EDS --- hypermobility is a key symptom, with frequently 'going out of alignment' issues.  I'm finding the Stiff 'n' Sore really helps in those areas, which was what had occurred when my D.O had suggested it to me, my S.I. joint had gone out for the first time in a long time, self corrected, which was great, but I'd asked at my next routine session with her what I could have done to make it less painful or faster to recover and this product was her suggestion.)

Hopefully they'll learn here at Lumigrate about many OTHER things to alleviate the underlying causes of their body having pain, and then only rarely have something occur which is needing a topical product like this.  I'd actually had one of those episodes where you overdid something and your back then goes 'out' on you when you're doing the littlest thing later, which is what I referred to above when editing in about EDS.

Within days (maybe even the very next morning ) I woke up with a really sore neck, perhaps from an episode of apnea. (I hazily remembered waking up a bit with my neck extended and being supine/on my back with my head really pushing into the pillow sometime during the night or early morning hours.)

I put Stiff'N'Sore on when I got up as I had promised someone I would hike/walk at noon that day and we had a nice long walk, I didn't slow us down or cause the distance to be short at all, and returned to work as normal afterward.  So that was really quite impressive to ME related to this product.  Naturally, that's just subjective. Then when the gal used it on her knee with good results and favorable feedback, I figured I'd better get something written up about it.

Added Feb 23, 2022, it is the updated link to their website and information on how to order (in order for YOU to get an overview of how they do their orders / payments so you'll know there and then if it's a good way for you to do things).  (And I suggest if one orders, to make a note on the order that I / Lumigrate "sent you", and provide as always transparency of any compensation I receive for the product promotion.)
