This information about food allergies is also in the Food Allergies Forum but this is SO critical for anyone with fibromyalgia to know about I put the link to the blog post about what Dr. Rollins reported on the morning news related to it (as it's only 5 minutes of condensed information).  Please take a minute to follow -- it could change your life.  It did mine!  When I was undiagnosed in the mid 1990s (had fibromyalgia but I wasn't reporting 'pain' as I have a high tolerance), the doctor and neurologist thought my symptoms were MS-like and when the tests all came back negative and with no explanation they could think of for my symptoms, I said 'my family is all allergic to foods and I test negative, but my acupuncturist told me she thought I shouldn't be eating much wheat' and I went back through her to find an MD who, like Dr. Rollins here in Grand Junction and many, many around the country and naturopaths, etc., do this type of food allergy testing (a blood test) OR promote an elimination challenge, which is what Dr. Deirdre Rawlings suggested on her teleseminar about food and the brain (Lumigrate's nutrition expert who is an ND as well as holistic nutritionist).  My world spins a WHOLE lot better the more compliant I am with eating what my body is happy to have in it and not what it isn't.  Makes SO much sense, and is really so simple if you just make how you feel your priority, and not pizza (in my case, that has wheat AND dairy, both of which are not for me!).  ~~ Mardy
