Dr. Schulte-Barclay's clinic "Healing Horizons" was a neighbor to the clinic Mardy saw patients for OT at in Grand Junction years back, and now has expanded to be a wellness center. She's generously agreed to come write regularly in this section about various topics of interest to Lumigrate's users. Questions? Ideas? Discussions!

Pharmacists are a key part in the whole of medicine in our model of medicine at Lumigrate. Whether the RPh is working in a conventional or compounding pharmacy, or doing consulting/education, they are critical to have 'on your team'. (Sometimes ConMed mixes with CAM, as compounding pharmacies are being created within and bought up by conventional 'drug stores' in recent years.)

Integrative Medicine includes therapies. "Occupation" of time entails functional activities -- from tooth brushing to driving, hobbies, leisure and 'enjoyment'. Adaptive equipment and strategies to do things differently are the specialty of OTs. Anyone can start a new Topic, so write about YOUR interests and find others, inspire others, share the joy!

Karen Richardson, OTR, CDRS (registered occupational therapist, certified driving rehabilitation specialist) is an OTR with decades of experience in various settings typical such as hospital, skilled nursing rehabilitation but most uniquely has worked since 1989 in driving! She also has been a medical consumer so has LOTS to contribute at her Korner of Lumigrate.
