Tips for Mexico and Food Safety: Might Apply at Home!
I happened to make time to call my old boss and his wife to congratulate him on retirement, knowing they were leaving for a few months to camp in Mexico and happened to catch up to them on their last night, camping just north of the border of California and the Baja area of Mexico. Due to the gauntlet of official and unofficial celebrations and the holidays, Julie was appreciative that I could look up online information about what to do with fresh fruits and vegetables, and I thought the information (follow the link, below) might be helpful to people in the US who might currently or in the future be dealing with how to make their foods safer to eat. It was a fast/streamlined, interesting read and from what appears to be a valid source. And has progressive things like colloidal silver mentioned. They liked the thought that simply drinking white wine with it can help reduce the odds of becoming ill. Just interesting stuff to tuck away in the back of your mind maybe, for a rainy day if one comes.
