Meditation Overview from National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at NIH

What I work to do at Lumigrate for YOU, the reader/user/customer who comes here, is distill down the best information and link to the 'good wheels out there' on a variety of topics, while bringing a cadre of people I 'know' professionally, and thereby creating a virtual community we are all part of at Lumigrate.  

I suggest if you're interested in meditation, take a trip to the following link to the National Institutes of Health's website for the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine's overview on meditation.  There are excellent references listed at the end to also be followed out to.  For instance, I looked at the study about mindfulness meditation and autoimmune response.  

To use the Nike marketing slogan: "Just Do It".  But really, don't just read about meditation -- DO IT.  I find that people, myself included, are so busy learning and studying and thinking and sharing and talking, they're using up their TIME resources -- we all only have 24 hours in a day -- NOT 'doing it'.  Balance, it's all about balance.  Turning inward is generally helpful to people.  And then when you DO come out to learn, I hope you come BACK here!
