Confused about how the new health reform law really works? This short, animated movie -- featuring the "YouToons" -- explains the problems with the current health care system, the changes that are happening now, and the big changes coming in 2014.
Written and produced by the Kaiser Family Foundation. Narrated by Cokie Roberts, a news commentator for ABC News and NPR and a member of Kaiser's Board of Trustees. Creative production and animation by Free Range Studios.

This is a fabulous little video, produced by someone at Kaiser Foundation and creatively using animation and Charlie-Brown-type music to break down the basics of the Health Care Reform legislation. This is a HUGELY controversial topic and I personally want to stay out of the 'debate' about it with Lumigrate BUT it is CRUCIAL that people FIRST are educated and understand it so they can 2) have an opinion about it. So I keep my eyes up for information to present here that will do that and I believe this is done in a factual/valid FUN and progressive way -- fits right in with Lumigrate's core concepts. It's under 10 minutes and I call THAT 'Streamlined', so it's a 100% ringer for me/Lumigrate (valid, progressive, streamlined and FUN are my goals with Lumigrate).
