I found this GREAT article in the stream of our friends on facebook (who 'Share' interesting things they find).

It points out how this might be a breakthrough like there was for ulcers being attributed to a bacteria.  The interesting history about that was the doctor who initially presented his theory was kind of 'laughed out of the room" by his colleagues.  And then it became proven.  So keep in mind the medical profession learned from that 'paradigm shift' about what causes something and we can see they now embrace something easier.  Keep in mind each patient who takes information respectfully and efficiently to a provider and feels they are not heard is perhaps making a dent that someone else will then also 'dent' and pretty soon the information gets through.

Please, before you head off to this GREAT article,  also refer to our blog about intestinal health and the immune system (just scroll down a ways) because it talks about how to get your intestines healthier.  If you are younger and middle aged and haven't had antibiotics and have no IBS issues you probably don't need to take probiotics --- study up and thinkin about it -- but there are a lot of tips.  Simply taking enough fiber in your diet or the right kind of supplement for you (psyllium is NOT the right thing for everyone -- study up and we'll get more information on this in the coming week to clarify that).    AND THEN PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH OTHERS IF YOU THINK IT WILL HELP THEM!
