Memorial Day 'Welcome Home': My Favorite Vietnam Veteran Teacher
Today, Memorial Day 2012, at the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, DC, the leadership of our country lead us in finally, officially, saying 'welcome home' to the veterans who served in that long 'conflict', later offically deemed a 'war'. There were shades of grey initially with US "involvement", going back into the 1950s, but in January of 1962, US pilots started transporting the south Vietnamese troops, a major turning point which provides the 'starting point'. read more »

I've covered topics on Lumigrate from our first year on the Internet, 2009; Letting Go of the Shame/Blame cycle, also here in the psychology forum. I felt that approach was from one paradigm and there might be something out there which could shed light in a different way, so I sought out having a guest blogger's well-done piece about 'forgiveness'. read more »
Mastin Kipp has asked I put this blog on Lumigrate exactly as written on his blog, The Daily Love, with a link to it there. I felt that it was a GRATE complement to the piece in this forum I wrote our first holiday season, which Dr. Young and Aimee Shannon furthered the conversation with an example, about Letting Go of Shame/Blame.
