The Why of Your Pain - A Video by Frank Gresham, CTPT, Transcribed for Readability or View Video PLUS Morton's Toe, Pyroluria

Here's a link to guide YOUsers to one of the main topics on Lumigrate that you'd likely find looking in the Forums list of this section -- but just in case, as I wanted to be certain people knew about it when looking in this forum, I'm creating a new topic to simply link you to the chronic pain forum and the topic about Frank Gresham's presentation which I've transcribed for those preferring to read. Or the video's linked to too in terms of his YouTube channel and a list of all his videos is there as well, including the one that this topic is focused on.  read more »

Casey Kasem, Lewy Body Disease/Dementia (and Movement Disorder): The Cause is "Hiding in Plain Sight"

Lewy body disease just got a boost on the 'awareness' level yesterday, Father's Day 2014, with the passing of the legendary 'voice' from Casey Kasem. I learned of this NOT on Facebook, though I was on Facebook while listening to the radio. I'd tuned into a weekly radio show by a local music 'maven', and I've enjoyed the new station the show was picked up on because after noon they go to old reruns of America's Top 40 with Casey Kasem.  read more »

Connecting via Creative Force to Heal Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Pain - Learning from Frida Kahlo and Others

Every year since Lumigrate's first year on the Internet, for Fibromyalgia Awareness Day/Month, I've tried to do something a little bit different and report on it here in the forum that's specifically about awareness and getting the word out to others about the condition that's called 'fibromyalgia' (FM). I'm very pleased to see that our 2013 topic, which is a creative piece authored by Sue Ingebretson, one of our expert contributors for several years now, where she compares 13 things about fibromyalgia and the hit PBS show Downton Abbey, has has almost 10,000 views in the past year.  read more »

Pyroluria, Kryptopyrroluria (KPU) or Hemopyrrollactamuria (HMU) -- Many Names, Causes, Connections

Do you see your self/yourself/YOU! or someone you're responsible for and/or care for/about diagnosed or undiagnosed but with symptoms of any of the following conditions? I'm posting the % of people in the various groups that will have "pyroluria" and the main 'handfull' of category groupings: (Some say 'pyrrole disorder', others 'pyrole disorder'.  read more »

Lyme: STD Possibility per Emerging Research and Documentary

I suspect that the 'sexual' aspect of this topic is getting people's attention. Combining this with the growing awareness by people with 'chronic illnesses', that I globally refer to on Lumigrate as 'the overlapping illnesses', becoming aware that Lyme is frequently part of the 'palate' of separate items their body carries and adds to the body's burden -- this is going to be a 'hot topic' going around the Internet I suspect. Hence I wanted to have a topic addressing it on Lumigrate.     read more »

Auricular Medicine in the US and Beyond: Learning to Test Energetically a GRATE Tool for Toolboxes of Providers (and Consumers)

Auricular medicine, and the similar auricular therapy, are words that might be planting as seeds for your next browser search, or the links below, which I've found after researching this burgeoning area of medicine, might suffice.  There's even a topic about auricular therapy at Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auriculotherapy  read more »

Mercury Toxicity, Common Sources and Health Effects: PhD and MD Researchers / IAOMT Conference Videos 'r' "GRATE"!

I'm glad you're interested in reading and viewing to learn more about mercury toxicity; it's a crucial topic for people to be more than 'familiar' with, in my opinion. I like to provide the YOUsers of Lumigrate leads to sources for learning that I find valid in the 'outside the box' choices that are increasingly available to chose from.  read more »

Morgellon's Disease: Is it In the Skin? "In Your Head"? Topic at Lumigrate Leads YOUsers to Answers and Overlapping Conditions

Since Morgellon's Disease is known for the skin lesions, and is different from the other overlapping conditions that are more 'invisible' (Lyme, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, MS, lupus, etc.), the topic thread I initially created in 2013 and added onto it today in 2014 is in the aesthetics forum, but I wanted to create a topic here in this forum to route people to it if they 'put in here'. To clarify, the overlapping conditions have many of the same underlying reasons and have many of the same symptoms as well as some differences.  read more »

Doctor Oz Says the F Word (Fibromyalgia) for Half of a Show! What Was Shown/Said and Our Followup Opinions

The F word, as I jokingly have called it since the 'dawn of time at Lumigrate', because of the suspicious lack of daytime television shows who cater to female audiences not covering it at all like there was some kind of rule against saying the word on television, was the topic for half of an hour-long episode of the well-known television show, The Dr. Oz Show, airing yesterday, Tuesday, July 23, 2013.  The title of the program was/is “The Disease Doctors Miss Most: Fibromyalgia”.  read more »
