Is Fluoride Really Safe?
As a physician who deals mostly with patients with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, I deal with patients who have a multitude of underlying illnesses. Beyond the comments brought forth in the neighboring topic in this forum by Dr Jeff McCloskey, I have some issues with fluoride myself. XMRV has raised eyebrows and created controversy since it was announced on ABC News shows, then to the rest of the mainstream media, in the fall of 2009. I covered it back then, as well as a very suspicious Dr. Oz show with Dr Teitelbaum, here at Lumigrate. Why People with Chronic Fatigue/Pain Seem Able to Do Things they Want vs Need to Do!
This seems so simple that I'd not written anything about it specifically but it came up twice last month -- the difference between "want to do" and "need to do" when it comes to people who have chronic illness and low energy or are spending lots of energy dealing with pain. read more »

Fibromyalgia/CFS/ME Awarness Day, 2011 a la Lumigrate!!!
Lumigrate was formed out of my experiences having had FMS / chronic illness and lived the frustrations of the western, conventional medicine model (ConMed), and my belief that there was a need for quality, valid and progressive information done in a streamlined way that also made it FUN to come and be learing or teaching others. I have always been an advocate for my patients and lived by my ethics to do the right thing for them in addition to the things a medical worker has to do in order to make a profit for their employer. read more »

Jacob Teitelbaum, MD Has Come 'From Fatigued to Fantastic'
"Feed me now or I'll kill you!" got a round of laughter from the crowd listening to Jacob Teitelbaum, MD, or 'Dr. T'. It certainly hit home for me. He broke things down in a very entertaining way, to the "SHINE Protocol" -- sleep, hormones, infections, nutrition, exercise.
