Note from 1/2013: Robin has provided consistent input at Lumigrate.com whenever her schedule has allowed (which is usually, as it's marketing and outreach and serving those she has responsibilities to already is certainly a priority), and I wanted people reading here to know that -- this is years of consistency, which have allowed me to only get to know her more, with a deepening of respect and appreciation.  I'm suggesting that she can post onto this thread about any 'missions' USANA has to focus on their goals as a company, and for their distributors. 

I appreciate Robin's having provided this -- it's something she had prepared which coincided with a request from me for information about MLM.  I've told her and others privately that when Lumigrate launched in 2009 I hadn't foreseen that Lumigrate would appear to be something which could 'sell' products if I were to sign up as a distributor.  Well, that's not what I set out to 'do' with Lumigrate -- I can't very well be providing a variety of information if I'm invested in getting revenue from ONE product. 

And to be frankly honest (something I'm known for), some of the people who were represented initially on Lumigrate were not in favor of MLM AT ALL.  And we're all a reflection on each other at Lumigrate, and so that affects what/who are best to include.  I asked others who were experts represented on Lumigrate and they said 'but there are some good companies and products out there now in MLM'.  So there I was, 50/50 split. And I opted to go forward in a VERY selective way, and incorporate MLM at Lumigrate.com.  

MLM is a growing reality.  And if it's growing there are reasons for it. Ultimately,  I decided to have some MLM represented on Lumigrate, and to have 'the discussion' about it and use it as an oppotunity to educate about none other than what MLM is, how to chose a good one IF it's something you're inclined to consider doing.

Many of us understand more about companies where you can order on-line, or go to a store and purchase. I honestly had very little experience with MLM going into this, and I appreciate the education that Robin and others have offered to me.  Just as anything, I'm going to work hard to 'strain out' the best and most popular ones (that is best AND most popular -- meaning if it's popular and not one of the best/valid ones, don't look to see it here). The business model of Lumigrate is having progressive and valid information, provide it in a streamlined way (meaning links out for following for those who want to pursue more from here), and overall having it so we'are all having FUN while we do it. 

FUN can be a variety of things but to me it means 'enjoyable time', and I find anything that Robin writes as such.  Such as this topic, above.  I really appreciate that she was preparing this and it met some of what I want to have on Lumigrate for our users to learn about MLM marketing.  Please notice she provides the information of how to check out a company to find out about it's validity. 

I care about the guests/users of Lumigrate.com and about the overall of people 'out there' in the communities of the US and beyond. If Lumigrate and I can help to connect someone who would like to work under a mentor like Robin and get more people 'out there' aware of and potentially taking the quality products like USANA offers, with the support for education that Robin providers, I cannot be more encouraging for YOU to contact Robin (or any other providers you see at Lumigrate.com, naturally).  

She's a great teacher, with ethics "at the core of her very being", with a focus of looking at the LONG RUN. (Hence, low 'push', high 'pull', I guess you could say.)  ~~ Mardy

 I was making my way around the various forums that are more 'off the hot trail' and wanted to add a resource here for people who might be reading this thread... this is really the 'main topic' in this thread and in the trips around the sun, or the trips we took rotating around on Earth so the sun brings new days to us, I have yet to find someone who could be a better person than Robin to be representing Multi Level Marketing.

An example comes to mind: In 2014 I worked a lot of time with someone who I'd felt was unaware of the reasons for their state of unwellness; it's sometimes a vicious cycle because the brain function gets wiggy as it's part of the body and the mind is affected by that and then you're 'impotent' unless they have someone helping them, supporting them, 'mothering them'.  

If I'm suggesting a person get into taking supplements, I'll suggest they put in the time to become educated.  But if their brain's wiggy, their behaviors off and 'immature' and not developed to where an adult who would respect their body and take care of --- by learning how to do so, and learning WHY they were not 'taught this in school'.  You can lead the horse (person) to water (Lumigrate) but you can't make him drink (read, listen, look...).

So then in my 1:1 advising, I figured they might take pills rather than kale, and that might get them enough benefit with the brain issues/ behavior issues / maturity issues / attention issues that they'd be able to THEN 1) see that I was giving good advise and they'd keep up with it and get better and 2) have their head together enough to DO THE MENTAL WORK of learning, which IS REQUIRED for people to reverse symptoms.  They either have to have someone doing it for them and just setting up the home as 'autism moms' do (though there are often dads involved and sometimes autism dads are the frontrunners in the family), or they have to have enough help from various sources AND self to get going in the right directions. AND KEEP GOING.  

So in the case I'm referring to here, I knew there was a very good health food / supplement store that was founded near where this person lives.  So I suggested they go there -- A) The food is going to be inspiring for ideas of how to change the lifestyle they were resistant to doing and B) They have trained their staff and have resources in every store AND an in-store nutritionist IN EVERY STORE, so you really cannot beat them on average for what advise and products they have if a totally uneducated consumer walks in to get a supplement (or food or other product).  The stores are Natural Grocers.  So I said "Go to Natural Grocers and inquire about ______" and the response was "We have a GNC near here, I'll just go there".  If I thought GNC was the best place for people ON AVEREAGE to go in this instance, I would have said that.  So I reached in my 'toolbox' and suggested Robin Thomas.  And this person was very grateful.  

However, I'd made this person aware that they needed to study about MTHFR gene mutations and the methylations issues and had also been communicating with Robin about this emerging area in health information in the last five years .. really since about the time she and I connected and I invited her to have a place in Lumigrate's experts who get to be marketing themselves here.  My gut went off about this person I am referring to and I checked on them (as I would have routinely anyway to see if they were ready to have more advise about other things) and they appeared to me to be having detoxification symptoms from not detoxing correctly and something making them detox. You have to support the detoxification pathways first and foremost after doing very basic nutritional boosting through foods, ideally, and then supplementation thereafter.  The consumer is ultimately the one who has to figure these things out, and do the work and unfortunately they were not doing that and so they suffered the consequences.  And so it was in their hands to use whomever they were using online or in person or on the phone and email for advise and support.  I felt good about Robin being one person this person had now added to their team.  

I'd had a lot of confidence in USANA up to this point. And she wasn't able to answer my question about the form of folate in their products and I was learning that was extremely important via the MTHFR gene mutation/ methylation pathway / detoxification pathway people / experts.  So I called USANA and asked. The woman put me on hold and then came back and said "Vitamin B9".  That would be like my calling a gas station and asking what kind of fuel they sold and being told petroleum!  So I paused and with my tone of voice perhaps sounding like an interviewer trying  to let people know they're scrutinizing the answer someone gave, I said "You called your expert there to answer the question I asked, which was 'what form of folate is in USANA supplements' and they said 'B9'?" And they were so unaware of supplement basics apparently as they didn't understand what a bad answer that was, and said 'yes'.  So I said 'thank you, that's a very helpful answer for what I was trying to find out today'.  

I then got back ahold of Robin who has always made things a priority if I have questions, and let her know the response I'd gotten and I was back to appealing to her to answer the question and then to voice my concerns that if it's true what the growing numbers of experts say about folic acid being contraindicated to a lesser or higher degree for people who have had the epigenetic changes to now have methylation / detoxification pathway issues (AND THEN the symptoms of that, which include many things about the brain function, body symptoms).  And I followed up with the 'client' and also reminded them again a month later. And so it is up to them to do what's right for them in their relationship as provider/ expert and consumer / learner from here. I've brought them both to the 'trough' and asked them to drink about methylation information as it applies to that 'client' and ultimately a majority of the types of people who have the wherewithall and resources to be addressing their wellness with significant attention via nutrition, whether through foods or supplementation with liquids, capsules, tablets, etc.   

I learned a lot from taking the step I have shared on this comment, above, when deciding to include MLM products in a very limited way back in the past when USANAs people locally (MaryLee has a topic on this thread) and nationally (Robin).  In order to show the differences I selected what I thought was another 'decent' product that was also VERY popular and highly rated by Lyle MacWilliam's book which was a product recommendation we launches with via our video on supplements.  

The videos were from the originally planned 'mission' of Lumigrate, which was I'd be the health navigator and marketing lead for an integrative medicine center which had the area's most popular outside the box providers for MD, ND, L.Ac/TCM, TOM (Oriental medicine) -- Naturopathy is also a traditional medicine.  And we had our differences after the paint was applied to the walls and hung together through a tough first year and one by one we went our separate ways and the center remained, not integrative at all, but providing very different services and providers last I knew which were beneficial to other types of people. And from DeeDee Shaw, who has commented on a topic here way back in the beginning, I learned that there was some 'monkeybusiness' about the Lyle MacWilliams book.  

You see, we as medical providers and consumers are all with one thing in common (almost all the time): We weren't raised with people and systems teaching us how the business world overall and who's running it and the secret ways the globalists have things set up to take advantage of us.  We might think we're going outside the box of the system when we quit taking insurance as providers, but who's invested in the businesses that are making the money from the products and services we're guiding people to outside the box.  Bioidentical hormone makings are ordered by compounding pharmacists by someone. Who owns the compounding pharmacies, who owns the product companies supplying? Who is funding and benefitting from the sales at MLM companies?  Why are so many of them located in Utah? 

I had to keep learning and I have kept learning. I still like that Robin Thomas is someone I can refer people to and I think she is an incredible resource. I'm glad that I opted to include MLM representatives VERY selectively on Lumigrate in the second 'layer' of our growth where we were now not with the original local experts and needing national experts who were working well on Facebook and would collaborate.  I'm aware that Lumigrate is getting more people all the time using it as a resouce for in-depth learning.  And I'm now able to provide information from today with my new perspectives and additional education since this thread and comment were added.  

Some people need that 'mothering' type to check on them every month and see what else they might want to buy now or stop buying now as the consumer is hopefully growing in their knowledge and recovery every month and needing to do differently.  They need the support with that.  However, when someone only sells one product line and they'll lose something if you don't buy their products, may the buyer beware.  That takes 100% ethics on the part of the distributor to do what is right for the client and I know that is the way I operate but everyone has to decide for themselves how they do business. 

 Here's a resource I HIGHLY suggest people go to if they're going to be looking into any kind of produce distributed in the multi level marketing / MLM, network marketing / NM, whatever word they want to make up that sounds better than the one that makes people turn away because they've been dogged by people 'distributing' / selling who are persistent and selling inferior products.  Or superior products.  The whole distribution model that is MLM, in my opinion at the start and moreso my opinion today, is something to be very aware of.  And decide if it's for you.  It's not for me, and it's not for Lumigrate I have concluded, I would prefer my YOUsers be somehow finding ways to do the work to get their products (and information about what those would be) from sources who simply operate in a way more consistent with what I believe is the way people can have wellness, and a healthy economy globally and with each individual person.

As I often do, I dedicate my 'day of work' on Lumigrate to someone.  Today is February 7, 2015 and my mother was born on this day 90 years ago! She passed shortly after her 62nd birthday. My day started with an amazing mother who is one of the 'autism moms' asking me to hop in about a product someone has been taking with good results and asking for my input.  So I looked into what the companay was and it was a Utah-based MLM company.  And so I pulled up the above link (and some others, as I initially was using search words MLM, reviews, plus the specific company I was being asked for input about.)

Ironically, the day before, I'd wanted to get a resource of an information provider to this amazing woman who had not been science and research oriented who has recently found information and a protocol that is being tried by some people (and their children or pets) with incredible results and very fast response.  I actually think that she has had something 'clear' or 'change' within her brain function from the treatment that opened her up to new things with Body Mind Spirit (whole), and allowed her to become a leader in the research substantiation of the protocol (which was created by a man and I want to once again say that sometimes these are men and dads and not moms).  

But she'd gotten to seeing that the protocol needed updating because so many people are now finding their group and they're new and asking the same questions I asked when I was new and created a topic on Lumigrate in the activism forum. So I then had to update what I had on Lumigrate and hadn't had time (and she was tired) to find the resource I'd mentioned.  

So I went to bed, tuned to the online radio network I like to listen to until I fall asleep, and my gut guide took my fingers through the tabs to where I was on a page of choices with THE expert I was wanting to turn this woman onto! And the interview he had on the radio network exactly covered what she had JUST asked me look at related to the product / company of someone who was coming to her with a potential resource. 

And finding this to be the place to add on in Lumigrate to address their inquiry, likely not in the way they were expecting, I realized how I was appreciating the 'motherly' aspect that I found with Robin Thomas, also an 'autism mom' in a sense though I don't know what exact label she had for her son two decades ago and since.  The conventional monkeybusiness system created by the globalists running the world and in a way that is not in the best interests of the people's health financially, physically, emotionally, mentally, etc. is the creator of many of the labels people use today, from autism to conspiracy theorist.  And then they spin and market from there, and make money.  So it's apples and oranges, they're both fruit: These moms both had children who were with symptoms of problems that we'll just call 'fruit'.  

What Robin Thomas did with her son's health over 20 years is incredible and impressive; she has lived it and she has known that not all the things her son needed were offered by USANA and that was one reason I wanted her to be on Lumigrate, because she had said if they didn't have the right product for someone she would advise them in the basic direction of what to continue on looking for.  What this other mom has done in less time as hers is younger is impressive too.  

Both are amazing researchers whose abilities and efforts and skills have paid off in results. Robin, as you will see, has a degree in science and worked in medical research and loved it, before her son was not well enough to be taken care of by someone else or go to school, etc. How to work from home was what lead her to being a distributor who is now long-invested in time, energy, money in that one direction professionally.  

I've more recently worked collaboratively with What I'll just call The Divine Mrs. M.  She's connected over time, using Facebook, with other amazing mothers who are using the Internet as the primary tool to help their children and themselves (as each generation gets more 'tweeked' until we get things turned around of what is affecting us all on Earth.)  And I look forward to seeing where HER child is when in HER 20s, as Robin's son is now in HIS 20s.  

My other died when I was in MY twenties.  For many years I had to process why it was that there were so many things she knew about and that would benefit me and she didn't pursue taking me for the help.  She was very invested in her interests, career, and sadly, addictions. From laughing with teachers in the teachers lounge after school was out and smoking and drinking coffee, something I saw a lot as I caught a ride home with her until I was 12 as it wasn't legal to be home alone ... to alcohol, tobacco, her career efforts as a teacher ... she was about as hands off a mom as you could get.  

I had to be very mature and capable very young and that was something I benefitted from. And as an adult I took it upon myself to pick up the pieces and get the therapies I needed, the nutrition advise I needed, and to continue to learn about 'the system' as I have and chose to bring into what is offered for education at Lumigrate for our YOUsers.  I wouldn't change a thing about the family of origin I had, I've learned so much from them.  Not usually easy lessons.  That's okay, I'm wise beyond my years in some things, and always have been.    

She taught me to read when I was able, not when the experts said you should be teaching a child to read.  I went to kindergarten and wondered why I had to be there because they were teaching and learning the alphabet.  I liked the neat art projects and things for fine motor development.  I liked the socialization.  But I remember thinking "I can read, why am I here? Can I just go to first grade?"  Thankfully, my mother saved my report card from kindergarten -- she didn't save many things as she was a minimalist.  "Can count to ten and keep my hands to myself" is my joke about that report card.  It was the only all glowing report card I ever had, with a hand written comment about what a pleasure I was to have in class from the teacher.  Who I later learned was NOT drinking WATER in that coffee cup she carried around.  

I'm grateful that I found the 'missing link' in my 54th trip around the sun to explain the behavioral issues that run in families that have people with complex chronic fatigue and pain, and have Lumigrate to bring information to.  It is indirectly in part due to my mother that I had the abilities of resources to do what I have done with Lumigrate.  

My mother, at least, was not so dependent on alcohol she'd need to drink at school, she had a strict rule for herself that at home not a drop before 5 pm.  She is still remembered with respect and appreciation by many who had her as a teacher, coworker, or dog 4H leader, friend, etc.

Happy Hour out with the teacher friends were earlier than five and sometimes they'd go to each others houses so they'd not be overheard by the locals as there was a lot of fishy monkeybusiness going on with the school system starting about the time I was in high school.  My mother retired early rather than go through the process of what they do for insubordination with teachers who believe they have proven something through their own research on their own -- as Divine Mrs. M and Robin have done as well.  I would not fully understand WHO and WHAT and WHY that happened until my 55th trip around the sun, when someone from our community who has kept up with me on Facebook sent me a link to a video by Alex Jones and his website, interviewing Charlotte Iserbyte, who is 'the' American whistleblower on education in the US (and the socialization / reform of it).  

Then EVERYTHING my mother and I and anyone around her went through made sense. And I became more committed than ever to seeing what I affectionately call the monkeys and their monkeybusiness.  (The globalists and their businesses.)

I had more respect for who I am and how I am than ever, and this past week even created a new piece of information on Lumigrate about 'indigo people' because the nutritional deficiencies are thought to cause the addictions and behaviors and come from 'interlopers' inside our system we're having to deal with ... algae, mold, microtoxins, bacteria such as borrelia / Lyme, bartonella, babesia .. 'environmental illness' is what my mother had but never knew it.  When I first read about "indigo children" the sources I read didn't make sense as I was born before the 1970s and I met the criteria.  My mother was born in 1925 and she met the criteria.  

Then I was further inspired to thankfully put in a lot MORE seat time in the last year to 'get to the bottom of this stuff' and listened to Dr Klinghardt (who the Divine Mrs M also says was a major foundational level expert for her to get her base under her for the research she has now contributed to) in a LOT of places and read a LOT of things from him and one thing he said was 'these people that think the indigo children are what they say they are .. they have pyroluria'... that made perfect sense (paraphrase, not a direct quote). 

And thankfully I met The Divine Mrs. M. via a Facebook group because the MAN who had been ever-so-diligent and hard working in figuring out HIS health issues, WHAT, WHY, HOW and WHAT TO DO to reverse symptoms / solve the underlying problems / problem -- root cause(s) was doing some outside marketing from his group into a Lyme group that I had been participating in heavily at the time.  (Shout out to DiveGirl Deb here, and her group about Lyme Disease in Oregon.  

Deb's mother's birthday is always just before my mother's.  She always has done something to honor her mother, and reminding people that her mother did not know what had caused her health problems and hastened her death.  She also had a very inspirational mother who clearly helped shape Deb to be the LEADER she is today in the Lyme movement in the United States and world, really.  Deb was barely with symptoms turned around and with enough wellness to be proactive as an activist functionally in the community and she was AGGRESSIVELY getting 'on it' and making SIGNIFICANT changes in 2014.  

2015, I think, is 'the year'.  The house of cards the monkeys built about the medical system is with cards getting punched out of it all the time now. I am working harder than ever to be doing what my gut / Source connection and other things that guide me (including logic and reasoning) lead me to in order to be contributing the way that is intended.  I do believe there is a big plan that was being figured long ago for how we were all going to be here at this time, connected as we are, which as a LOT to do with Facebook and everything to do with the Internet in terms of why we'll be able to get the monkeys all rounded up and just put them in the zoo and not be in their circus anymore.  (My mom enjoyed it, as we all did, when my dad would sing "All the Monkeys Aren't In the Zoo... Every Day I see One or Two" (or something like that).

I am also more aware than ever, just in the last weeks due to the path of my travel based on where my gut told me to go and the things that were presented to me, of how many mothers are out there -- who have not been aware of why they were messed up with behaviors, memory, pain of body, pain of spirit or mind, and they're now working feverishly with the brain and body they have to learn and change things.  They have the 'system' of their family they created and all their dynamics and habits to change or not change and have to figure out how to get from where they are this moment to where they will be in future moments.  Their children have had 'failures' and 'problems', often involving the law not only because the overall system changed so we have more chances of being caught in the money-making schemes due to all the problems created by the products and services (including our education system) the monkeys controlled.  So it's a mess.  A real mess.  

One mother said to me her offspring who is a young adult was 'disrespectful and 'messy' and that was where the consultations began.  It turns out in peeling the onion by my giving some of my time and input / opinion, venturing that they would see the VALUE in my input and compensate me,  that was a tip of an iceberg that could sink a life.  Meaning life-ending seriousness.  So they are now with whatever they gleaned from our 'sessions' together and for whatever reason this person doesn't appear to see how valuable this kind of education and guidance to learning is something worth compensating me for.  But I feel GOOD about being able to say 'then just use Lumigrate, it has a search bar and you can just look all around in the forums and elsewhere.'  

Thanks again to MY MOM, and my surrogate mom who stepped up to the plate after my mother had passed, an "Aunt" who was not really an Aunt, same as my friends sometimes have had their kiddos call me 'Auntie Mardy' when they're little.  She was a leader in her industry and helped bring Title IX in sports equality to fruition.  And so between the two of them and my father, Lumigrate has been able to be created and nurtured (most) every day.  Today, very special thanks.  My mother also was one to be able to forsee the future and then she also used the tools she had at the time to learn more, which was all night talk radio when she wasn't sleeping.  

It maybe didn't look like any of her businesses -- raising dogs commercially, writing a penmanship program to be published and used in the schools (because she didn't maybe know about how the 'monkeys' (globalists) only fund what they want to have funded and not others, they make them die on the vine), art that was good enough for people to buy but she never marketed it -- were successful.  It might not look like her youngest child is successful either.  

But I am! I'm here, Lumigrate's here, and it is 2015 and we're alive and healthier than in the past in a lot of ways and just having gotten to another layer deeper of AUTHENTIC information from experts about health who have researched because of what affected them personally. With no 'horses in the game'.. no intentions that I'm aware of having to do with making any money by selling advisement or products, they just want people to have the benefit of what they found out is 'the problem' (they ascertain and present), and the solutions they present.  

Yes, not professional medical researchers like Robin Thomas was as I referred to above, but she was working inside the system and then was inclined to sell a product that also comes from within the system and that's great because many people prefer the system's stuff.  Others want to do their business outside the system.  And it took me until recently to have more clarity about that.  The Divine Mrs. M and Steve and the others leading the way with the new protocol they are offering are outside the system and doing GRATE WORK.  (Hence there is a topic titled in the activism forum about Steve, his images, his group, and protocol.)  

We've all shared privately or in the group about not having the money to purchase things for the protocol or we are without a tool like Internet service due to lack of funds at the moment but the PRIORITY of each person was showing all along because they were showing up every day to the group to facilitate people to learn and sometimes try the protocol and then work out the things that would come up as problems or questions. Refine their information and mesage and how they operate.  And I have a feeling I just watched medical history happen! (And got it onto Lumigrate too so our YOUsers who found that topic can have that front row, cutting edge seat too and learn and see if it's something that will benefit THEM). 

I don't easily "tear up" but I have worked on that and even had a shaman-like session in 2009 that helped connect my heart back up from all the hardships I had on it as a child (in my assessment). One day recently when reading the information in the group about the protocol and etc., The Divine Mrs. M said she didn't have money for the third thing in the protocol, she'd started with water ozonation and the livestock worming product and others were trialing different combinations and how to start and ease in or jump in with all feet.  

Due to the appreciation for ALL the work she did, someone said she would gift her the product and Mrs. M accepted so that she could give it to her daughter.  The next thing I knew Mrs. M was reporting on taking the product and I didn't ask if she figured she should try it on herself before giving it to her child (which is the way I'd do it if it were me), but I have a hunch the donor was generous enough to have provided enough for both.  And I'll trust that things will keep flowing the way of all the sincere, ethical activists who have been so unwell and are reversing their symptoms and contributing to the fund of knowledge and process.  

Ironically, my mother's work she 'mixed it up with the monkey authorities who took over the school' in the 1970s, was to help the motor-planning, neurological impairments that are, we know today 'this stuff' that 'everyone has'.  I went on to study OT and saw what she had been doing was now done by OTs.  ... I ended up integrating in a lot of things my whole career and continue to do so and think about how innovative she was as a teacher and here I am -- the apple not far from the tree.  A tree I am very proud to stand up with today and say is my mother and her undying, timeless influence on me.

All the kids have been affected by it, and were in the 1970s! Just less serious in more cases.  She only found one student in all her years screening every 3rd grader that had a perfect neurological system.  My classmate who grew up to 'unschool' her children because she was able to see 'the monkeybusiness' and raised healthy children from what I have been able to gather.  She's well, she's an activist in Texas about the  monkeys and their system bigger than anyone else I know personally -- SWAT teams and the whole 9 yards to hassle with what she's doing to help people get out of the system and not under the control of the monkeys and be well.  I have one of her organizations recipes and photos in the foods / recipes forum, it's for a raw cookie if you want to go look.

The irony is, my mother was a lot like the afore-mentioned mother of an adult who took a lot of free advise from me thanking me for it knowing that I operate on 'you reimburse me with what you feel is appropriate' and then wasn't going to offer anything in return.  This occurring so close to my mother's birthday made me think about 'pathological frugality'.  As she got older it got worse.  My father complained not long before she died that she'd taken dried pasta shells from the pantry to teach the kids at church learning spiritual things how to play bingo (Catholic she became when I was in my 20s so I don't know what they learn and teach there) and then brought the shells home and threw them in the hot water pot and made dinner out of them.  "They have their fingers up their noses and then they're handling the shells and then it's my dinner".  

The irony of THAT was he was also with a lot of behavioral issues and irrational thinking and one was that we didn't need to use soap on our kitchen plates and silverware because the hot water killed anything that would be a problem.  So -- what goes around comes around in lessons.  She died at the kitchen table, suddenly and unexpectedly when a blood vessel burst in her brain.  Everyone attributed it to the obvious -- smoking, liver disease, cardiovascular disease.  But WHY did she have those, we'd look with 'functional medicine'.  I believe I've found why people have the anxieties and 'inner tension' they have and then take to drugs that make them feel better when they are exposed to them, becoming a habit and self medicating without problems initially but then becoming a problem.  

And in the case of pyroluria you end up more depleted by consuming alcohol and coffee (even decaf) from what I have learned so far. She had inherited hemochromatosis and had to stop eating red meat and she should have stopped consuming the water from the well too, it was later found to be way high in iron and also had some bacteria indicating problems.  

So she was doing blood letting per her conventional doctor's advise, she loved red meat but she stopped consuming it or drastically cut back and that, with the new knowledge today about what she had going on, was going to set up other problems with the depletion of zinc and B6 which I presume she had from looking at her symptoms and the various things that are associated with pyrrole disorder / pyroluria (and related MTHFR gene mutation and methylation issues which are the 'new de jour' subjects. She did not seek out any of the available providers in her area for outside the box advise.  She did not go to the library and start researching and asking for them to bring in resources not on site. She told me 'this is how I want to live and this is how I want to die' and I honored that and stopped bugging her about her addictions and lifestyle.  

I finally made peace within myself of what my whole family of origin good, bad and indiffferent was about, and I'm now looking forward to what 2015 brings.  I have as much experience on Earth in this life as my mother had when I was leaving her with an empty nest and making my way to start my journey as an adult and I believe in some ways, picking up where she left off.

The fondest memory I have of her was when she woke me up one day when i was maybe 3 or 4 and a new litter of golden retriever puppies was in their bedroom closet and the mother had for the first time since delivering them, gone outside for more than to just relieve herself fast and come right back.  So she wrapped one up in one of my old cloth diapers (great rags around the house) and I sat in her chair in the living room and held it while she watched for the mother to come back.  It tried suckling my ear lobe and smelled SO good.  

The home movies of my first steps are outside pulling myself up on a dog and steadying and then taking a step after letting go.. until another dog comes up and engages the stabilizing dog to play and that makes me fall down. Later after a family dinner in town at my siblings house, before I'd had my health collapse (which was after she'd died) she popped me on the hip and pointed at a playground and swingset at a park or school up ahead and said 'race you to the swingset'.  

And she BEAT ME.  I was long legged, had been the fastest first grader in my school 15 years before and she was 5'2 and eyes of blue (36 24 36 too, in her prime).  So let's just hope I maybe am not as FAST at her age as she was, but I'll hopefully make a long distance in terms of trips around the sun and rotations on the Earth where it's another day of sunlight, and be able to help the people I am intended to help, and continue to grow and deepen as a whole person making MY generation BETTER than the last in terms of that we are reversing our symptoms and being effective the ripple effect going on to have others do the same.

Tony Pantalleresco is billed at OneRadioNetwork as "Just a guy who knows a lot of stuff about health"... I like it! I was, above, crediting Steve who is 'just a guy who knows a lot of stuff about things that affected his wellness and he figured out WHAT and created a protocol with the help of people who allied with him, collaborated, etc.  Just moms who were fabulous researchers and proactivists in their families and then wanted to help others find out what was, they believe, a new major development in what people have to find on the Internet that can help them reverse their health issues.  "The root" maybe, even. Which isn't just one thing it's a whole glob but they're interrelated and the way to treat is very simple, relatively speaking.  I have a hunch someone like Tony Pantalleresco will want to know about it. And others. It will be so interesting to see how it goes , going forward.

I've always worked to 'integrate' information and angles and providers at Lumigrate -- Luminate / integrate is where the word Lumigrate comes from which we created in 2008 when pulling together a massive amount of things in order to create a 'bona fide' Internet-based business.  

So to balance this topic out, and also bump it up to the topmost of the short list of topics in this forum as I want the topmost topic to be the one that will for sure be considered by anyone seeing the list and considering spending some time clicking on a link and learning from that thread, I'm adding this on here about OneRadioNetwork's two hour interview from Tony Pantalleresco.  He's a minimalist when it comes to how to go about getting healthy in a way -- not overly so, probably about just right so.  As with ANYONE, I don't know that he's right about EVERY thing that he says.  

I liked a recent interview I saw with Dr Stephanie Seneff who said "I'm not sure I'm right about this that I've been working on recently, but I think so".  You have to do your homework, you have to consider various angles and sources and so I simply try to make that be a variety of things that I present from my abilities to sort out information.

IF YOU ARE WONDERING ABOUT PRODUCTS SUCH AS SUPPLEMENTS AND THINGS FOR HEALTH THAT PEOPLE PURCHASE, THIS IS ONE THING I SUGGEST YOU LISTEN TO.  And I love in the first hour when he gets a question by email and then the caller's not on the line and he says 'makes me wonder why we do the videos' because clearly the person was asking a question that was in the video.  I'm not as nice as he is.  I'd just say 'look at such and such a video the answer will be in there and it has to do with _____________'

Now, I ask you ... want to fill out YOUR YOU model, and would you include Tony on it? I have spoken with someone personally (via Facebook) who had utilized him as a consultant on her wellness and said he was instrumental in the benefits she'd had reversing things.  What about a Steve, a Divine Mrs. M, me? We're 'just people' (except in my case I do have allopathic training and credentials).  

Take out a piece of paper and a writing utensil.  Don't just do it in your head, get physical with your body and connect mind/brain to hand/ paper. Make it visual.  Be creative or not.  Make it your own.  Who is on YOUR YOU model and who would help you going forwards? What kind of experts do YOU respect enough to advise you? What is their background and training? This is a huge field opening up of buddy system things with no money changing hands and a wide variety of skills, abilities and background information that the advisor has and it's going to be problematic in some ways and helpful in others. The reality is, it's happening.  Meaning, in my opinon, the consumer  has to be able to figure out wisely who to ask for help.
