I like many things about Fibromyalgia Network -- always have. Most of all because they put forward the education and a nice graphic about the 'related conditions' or 'overlapping conditions'. I'm setting the link up to that directly, below, along with the link to the home page.
For one thing, they clearly state they don't take money from the pharmaceutical industry. I have a similar 'deal' with Lumigrate -- there have been people who wanted to financially support Lumigrate BUT an expectation inevitably comes for what might be expected in return.
My goals with Lumigrate include this being a trusted place to come for information about health and wellness from a functional / integrative standpoint and streamline people's efforts for finding good providers and products... what we like to call "Grate" rather than 'good'. (We also like to sprinkle in FUN and beautiful things -- make it an enjoyable place to visit!)
I also like that they see the 'overlap' and 'big picture' of all the diseases which might have the same or similar underlying causes. Why? Because Lumigrate's information is about finding the underling cause of illness, or the causes of wellness overall. If nutrition has something to do with why Persons A and B have different diseases, then isn't there a simple beauty in presenting about nutrition?
If something like Lyme Disease is a factor in many things, or low thyroid, then isn't it going to be really brilliant to cover those topics as what's going to be good for one thing is maybe going to be good for another thing. So I hope you take my advise and follow out to Fibromyalgia Network and look around their site, etc. and then come back and look around more things we have posted at Lumigrate. Sometimes we might have the provider that can help you take your health and wellness to the next level.
