Music and Health Pt 2; Chris Young and Rock Cesario with Adam Entertain!

I had a wonderful time recording and now listening to the completed version of this entertaining and enjoyable full-length podcast (links below)! Chris Young, PhD psychologist with neuroscience and pain management background and Rock Cesario, our "Minister of Music" here at Lumigrate from my calling him that on facebook on Sunday mornings when listening to his local radio show are powerfully wise and are old friends from their early 20s. They've reconnect at Lumigrate to talk about music and it's place in life and health.
Adam Cochran of TalkingDigital, provider of podcasting services for Lumigrate.com, does a wonderful job as always of chattin' in up, or 'rapping' as the 'old guys in the old days' would say. As you'll hear him say, the music expert is quite insightful about psychology, and the psychologist knows a lot about music. It made me think about all the people we spend our time resource with and what impact that has on us from that moment forward.

I always learn something when talking with Chris, or when listening to Rock on Sundays on his radio show and reading his column on Fridays in the Daily Sentinel. And Adam continues to amaze me with how much he knows about so many things, including music! Thank you all for your time and commitment and energy that you bring to Lumigrate -- it's GRATE and very appreciated.
I brought the Peace Fleece Yenta sent me after the last podcast with Rock, who said when he first saw it "This is really beautiful! We could sell these at the store." I'm taking that fleece on all kinds of little adventures and hope it has a wonderful story to tell in it's journey for raising fibromyalgia awareness. Love you, Yenta! Thank you for YOUR energy and contributions as well. I look forward to seeing where the blanket goes, and the podcasts too!

Hello my dawlinks! Oy! I’m kveln (beaming with pride) that you should be around the Peace Fleece. Bubeleh’s, it was made with love and while listening to the Grateful Dead (yes Liblings, your Yenta rocks!) I discovered that sitting on the floor, though good for some things, is not easy to get up from any longer. Even Moishe had a difficult time helping me up so we had to call a neighbor over. We were in NY at the time and the neighbor worked for the fire dept. Such a nice man, good looking, clean cut, goes out with lots of shikses (non-Jewish girls).
As for music that heals, there was an old saying, “music soothes the savage beast”. Personally I don’t think it was referring to rock and roll unless it was New Age music but I will tell you there were several studies about how music influences dogs. We should talk about this one day, liblings. In the meantime, Moishe wants his dinner. A Yenta’s work is never done.
