The Lineup: 8 Videos, 3 Free or $0.00, 5 $20.00

I want to address here why the videos were set up the way they were, as it was and is 'different'.  So please read! Then I hope to see that many are taking advantage of the videos -- starting with the free ones to get a sense of the quality learning experience and how 'it works'. 

The concept that was 'innovative' with Lumigrate in 2009 when we constructed and launched the website about integrative medicine, was to provide people who wanted to be committed to their health to have low-cost, quality, full hour-long videos on progressive topics, by valid providers, make it streamlined and FUN. 

The videos that are $20, each about an hour more or less, come with the Powerpoint or other handouts, so you literally can download, print (or keep it electronically on your computer or back it up somewhere), watch (over and over, the videos are set to be unlimited watch for a number of years -- as the information will be outdated in a few years).  For people who are unsure of how easy it is to download (and if I can do it anyone can do it -- there are things more novice people than I have done without help in the Lumigrate website that I've had to have help with), I've written a blog post about it and will provide that link below, so PLEASE read it and downlaod and learn. 

Three are FREE, and are wonderful education.  The others are a very low cost -- the cost of going to a movie, basically!  Our intention was to find people who are committed to their health, want to find a different 'way' of getting education and would support something as 'pay as you go' and our information wouldn't be supported (and thus suspected) by advertisers.  Yes, it's 'different' and the question 'why should I pay when there is so much free information on the Internet', we answer with 'because these are quality, unbiased videos -- and a full educational hour, and can truly be an INVESTMENT and save you money, and those that will make that commitment and choice of how to spend money then take the FIRST STEP to better health by commiting with money, then there will be more followthrough". 

They provide a pretty complete 'base' to get started on a new way of health care that anyone with high speed internet and a fairly recent computer can access; so people in the outback or in the inner cities who might not have the money or providers around them can, for $20, have basically something that would cost $100 to $300 if you were to hire these providers privately for a session in Grand Junction, Colorado where I live.  These have been my own colleagues and in providers, who formed an integrative medicine center together (with my participation for their initial year).  Trusted/ valid. 

How can you help?  Invest your time and download the shorter Chronic Illness Full Barrel Syndrome or Insurance and Health Care or the hour long and free 'Health Management' video, and then come to this Forum and put in some simple comments about how it affected you.  That should encourage others to invest their time and energy.  If you go on to purchase a video, then we would want the same feedback, as then you could be helping others see how you took the time, energy and small amount of money investment and how it benefitted your knowledge base.  As someone said today related to something I wrote in the Forums, "It's like a light bulb went off for me".  I personally think if every person would watch the Full Barrel video when centered, their inner doctor would speak to them about what aspect -- toxins, spirituality .. the mind / body/ spirit that it covers, basically.  And from there they could look at more closely at a particular area related to their health care.  Maybe it would vibe for them that 'food allergies' or 'toxins' or 'supplements' or 'hypothyroidism' were a factor for them, and then there are videos to learn about that and truly you can be pretty self-sufficient from what is provided in the videos.  Maybe something would make them realize Paula King's 'Strategies for Lasting Change' would benefit them, and they'd have a health coach right in their computer, to go back to over and over if they purchase her video.  They're all wonderful and complement each other well, as I was the one who selected what seminars and topics to include in the videos we launched with in the spring of 2009.
